Even Writing Has Become Complicated!

Right off the bat, I know there are some who will say I'm whining, and some could be right. Having the opportunity to write at all is, in itself, a gift. But wow. Wouldn't it be awesome to write without distraction? For it to be as simple as opening up a journal and scribbling my thoughts? But it isn't that simple anymore. Just finding the "right" platform to use is complicated, and they all cost money. USE MY PLAN!, this one screams while my imbox is filled with ads for other platforms. I think I find an effective way to write, but then the platform changes their plans and choices, and I have to spend my writing time learning something new all over again. It should be so much easier.
A friend once told me - years ago - that we have become an MTV society, that all we want are the quick video versions of the songs of life. But now MTV no longer shows music videos and artificial intelligence has taken over all the content. How much more proof do we need that life has become more complicated?
My intent is to start writing more forcefiully, more intentionally. To make this writing thing happen. Now if I can only decide where to put my words.
